Is traceability important to you?

Our quality control systems allow us to trace all our materials back to each individual animal.

Much of the animal material and animal-derived material used in pharmaceutical production is sourced as a by-product of existing abattoir operations which is transported to separate facilities for processing. In contrast, our facility integrates both the abattoir and clean room processing under one roof, ensuring a streamlined, efficient, and controlled environment for every step of production.

What sets us apart is the unique location of our facility—situated directly on our farm, where our animals are raised on open pasture. When needed, the animals are herded to our facility, where they are processed through the abattoir and then further refined onsite into finished collagen products. This farm-to-finished process takes place in one location, ensuring complete control over every stage of production and maintaining the highest standards of quality and traceability.

All our animals are registered under the New Zealand Government’s NAIT system making each animal digitally registered and traceable. We process one animal at a time, there is no blending of material. Therefore, all our Collagen is single batch. All material is identifiable back to each animal and its progeny.
