OUR PROCESS

180COLLAGEN operates on a 300-hectare farm, where collagen is harvested from our own prime beef cattle, aged between 18 and 30 months.

Our animals are quarantined on the farm for at least four weeks before harvesting, ensuring optimal health and traceability. They are raised on a 100% grass-fed diet.

All processing is carried out on-site in a purpose-built facility, which is fully licensed and registered with the New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), the regulatory authority overseeing all commercial animal processing in the country.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT

180COLLAGEN operates a Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) registered processing facility, which undergoes quarterly audits by the governing body.

Our integrated quality management system adheres to international medical device standards, including ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 22442-2:2015, as well as recognized Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

We follow MPI-approved protocols throughout the completing course of processing. All animals are veterinary inspected prior to processing, with certified post-mortem inspectors conducting thorough checks immediately after harvesting and dressing.

Collagen testing is conducted by independent, accredited laboratories in New Zealand to ensure the highest quality and compliance.
